Our first date

Our VERY First Date
A few weeks after EFY, Weston finally asked me on a date! I think he had been saving up for this date his entire life because it was expensive. Eating out, laser tag, and bowling! He hasn't spent that much on a date since! But obviously it was worth it for our first date.

So it was the first Friday in August 2010. He picked me up after I finished working for the day and we went out to eat at Los Cucos. Weston was so nervous, he didn't talk or eat much! I almost ate more than he did which is saying a lot because I don't ever eat very much.

After dinner, we went to play laser tag at Laser Quest! We played with a bunch of 12-year olds and I was expecting Weston to do really well since he is a gamer. However, I totally rocked it. I got third place over Weston who got 15th. So check me out :)
Here is part of my score card:

After I killed him in Laser tag, Weston had planned for us to go bowling. Weston came up with the idea for us to do M&M bowling. For every color of M&Ms we wrote down how the ball has to be thrown. So while we were eating, we came up with crazy bowling styles. Here's what we came up with:

Red: Partner chooses ball/Bounce 3xs?
Brown: Lay on the ground
Yellow: Under the other person's legs
Blue: Backwards
Green: Under your own legs
Orange: Normal

I think Weston drew a brown M&M when I took this lovely shot :)

We also bet on 2 of the 5 games that we played. First Weston came up with the idea that the loser of one game has to make dinner for the other person on our next date. (He's pretty clever, already thinking about date #2) Weston ended up losing to me that game!

The next game we played, I came up with the bet: the loser has to write an original song for the other person on our next date. We decided to bowl normal for this game. Weston had gotten a mole removed on his right arm recently and wasn't supposed to use it but after he saw how good I was, he used his right arm for five throws, got a strike each time, and beat me! But he did rip his stitches a little bit, leaving him scarred for life. So I lost that game and was stuck writing him an original song for our next date.
When we were saying goodbye on the doorstep, Weston gave me at least 10 hugs before he actually left. Obviously, we both really enjoyed being around each other. I had such a fun time with him on this date. Looking back, it was such a happy memory :)
