Man how time flies! I used to think that babies weren't fun until they were 3 months old and I wondered how could moms go 3 whole months without having fun with their babies? I have learned that is so not true! You are way fun to be around, Ellie. I have fun with you everyday!
You are growing (yay!) You are still smaller than most babies your age, being in the ~2nd percentile at about 10lbs. You are no longer wearing newborn clothes or diapers and have moved in to 3 months sizes. Your eyes are still a gorgeous blue color. MUCH different from Mommy and Daddy's eyes and we're okay with that.
The fan in our bedroom is your best friend. You love to watch it spin and it makes you squeal with excitement faster than any person. You finally decided that you like your swing. It's a great place to watch the fan from. You have been taking your morning naps in the swing for the last 2 weeks, giving Mommy a very nice break. Now Mom has time to shower and eat breakfast! Yay!
You have been rolling from your tummy to your back for the last 4ish weeks. Sometimes you forget or are too tired to do it, but I know you know how. You haven't quite figured it out coming from your back, but you are getting closer each day. You are noticing toys now and you try to grab them while lying on your back. It is so fun to see you concentrate and move your arms towards the toy.
You love to suck on your fingers. It's kind of adorable... but Mommy is trying to break that habit. You will probably win though, cuz you are so stinkin cute.
Mommy is still waking you up to eat every 3 hours during the daytime and 5-6 hours at night. We want to make sure you keep gaining weight and that Mommy keeps her milk supply!
You love your cousins. When we were at their house the other day, they wanted to put you in their play-baby stroller. It was a tight fit... but we got you in! It was a little tricky to get you out, so we won't be trying that again. But thanks for being a good sport. Your cousins sure thought it was funny!
Keep growing my sweet baby Ells!
Love,
Mommy

She is SUCH a BEAUTIFUL baby! I'm happy to hear things are going so well.
