You are 9 months old now! Time is just flying and you are growing so quickly! You weighed 16lbs 11oz (25%), are 28 inches long (60%), and your head is 17 inches in circumference (32%). You are getting so big! You have 5 TEETH! 3 on top and 2 on bottom. Your 4th one on top should be coming in any day now...
You are crawling everywhere! Lucky for me you aren't into destroying the house just yet. I just have to make sure you aren't eating power cords and playing with the outlets. Oh and keeping you from eating things off the ground. Anything from hair to old food always ends up in your mouth. Silly girl! You can crawl on your hands and knees, but when you want to get somewhere fast, you drop down to your elbows and army crawl yourself there. I'm sure your real crawl will speed up soon enough!
You love to be outside. I probably don't take you out enough, but you get so excited when we leave the house. You love your swing. Your face just lights up when we walk towards it.
You love to watch the big kids play. And they love to help you have fun, too! We were at your cousins house earlier today and they were showing you bubbles for the first time. You LOVED it! You really liked it when you could pop the bubble yourself. It was so fun to see the joy on your face.
You had your first sad diaper rash. It stuck around for a few days and got bad enough we needed to go diaperless for a little while. After cleaning up some #1 and #2 accidents, we are grateful that rash went away! And we never want to do that again!
You love to sit yourself up now. You are usually sitting up in your crib when we come to get you out. Just sitting, waiting for the door to open and to see mom or dad.
You usually like to sing along with the songs during church and whenever music is playing. It is so fun to see you pick up on things like that and give it a shot. We love your singing voice (usually you just "AHH" as loud as you can, haha).
I painted your toe nails for the first time too. They were so cute!
Last night you were bubbling your lips with your little fingers. I got it on video and was showing it to you and you kept copying the noise and pointing to yourself in the video. It was so cute! You dad and I were laughing so hard at your cuteness!
You love to play patty-cake and give hugs and kisses to mom. We are working on giving hugs and kisses to dad and others. We love those sloppy wet kisses! You are such a sweet baby, so curious, so silly, and sooooo ours. You steal our hearts every day.
We love you Ellie! Keep growing my sweet baby girl!
