10 Months Old!!!!

Dear Ellie Bellie,

You are now TEN MONTHS OLD! It's insane! You are growing so fast it seems. Your newborn pictures look nothing like how you look now. It's weird! You are still my beautiful baby girl, your big blue eyes and loooong lashes still melt my heart every day.

The other day you weighed 19.5 lbs (fully clothed on our home scale). You are wearing 9 month clothes and a few 6 month shirts that I still like to squeeze you in. Size 3 diapers.

You eat 3 meals a day and 1 snack. I can never find time to get in another snack that your doctor wants you to have, but oh well. You eat EVERYTHING. I haven't found something that you refuse to eat yet. This includes things off the floor like hair, dog food, stale bread from the day before, bugs, leaves, string, seriously you will eat anything! I don't even know what your favorite food is because you will eat anything.

This last month we celebrated Halloween and visited your first pumpkin patches.

You were a kitty cat for Halloween. You got a bunch of candy for your Mommy and Daddy. We let you chew on the wrappers of some whoppers. After a few minutes, you had completely crushed all three whoppers in that bag. Those teeth of yours are killer!!! You have 6 teeth. 4 on top, 2 on bottom. We walked around on Halloween with your cousins. You were all bundled up in your stroller since it was a bit chilly. You loved watching your big girl cousins run around trick or treating.

You love to facetime with family. We talk to Aunt Kira and your cousin Kenzie almost everyday. You sure love to see Kenzie! In this picture you kept touching Kenzie's face.

You love to stand and get into everything. You never stop moving when you are awake. It's getting harder to put you to sleep each night. You now sleep through the night most nights. Sometimes you will wake up once, but you usually put yourself back to sleep within 10 minutes. Bed time is usually rough on me. You now take a bottle at bedtime, and then you fight with me to go to sleep for 30 mins to an hour. I still haven't got this sleep training thing figured out ... maybe next month will be better.

I am so excited to celebrate the Holidays with you, to make memories with you and your daddy. I am so thankful to have you as part of our family! You bring so much joy and happiness to our lives!

And here's a comparison shot ^^^ You have changed SO MUCH!

We love you, Ellie! Keep growing sweet baby girl!!!

Love,
Mommy
